It takes a human eye about an hour to adjust to a completely dark room,
Once adjusted, that eye becomes 100,000 times as sensitive to the subtleties of light.
On a clear, moonless night,
From the top of a mountain,
A human eye with 20/20 vision,
Can see a match,
As it's lit,
Fifty miles away.
Maybe life is just a matter of seeing,
Which requires adjusting to the light.
Poem Stolen from Real Life:
"I love Israelis, they're so much fun to walk on!"
"What did you just say?!"
"These railings: they're so much fun to walk on."

Yes. ...to both poems. haha. I really like this one. A good metaphor without stating it obviously. I like the mystical bent you're starting to go on Mr. Moe.
