Auspicions, part II is still on its way, but I thought I would quickly inform the world that I successfully drove from Homer to Seattle over the course of 4 days through the Yukon and all of British Columbia. It was stunning.
I'm now in Seattle trying to figure out how to get to San Francisco where I have a whole bushelful of friends to visit and catch up with. I'm looking into rideshares and if that falls through, I'll probably hitchhike. If anyone knows anyone headed in that direction, by all means, please let me know.
Best,
tcm

Good to hear that you made it all the way through Canada in such great time. I am sure that you will make it to SF with ease, and have allot of time to spend with all of your friends that are auspiciously all there at the same time. How much was gas driving through Canada? I am still in limbo as to what my plans are, but very well might be driving down as well, and would like to know what to expect as far as gas prices are concerned. -- Finally checking out our blog man, it looks really good. I can't wait to read some more on it, and be able to follow your travels. Peace Love and Luck -SAN

There will always be the left and the right, for you to be shocked is what surprises me. With experiences comes depth and for someone to criticize you for trying to acquire a novel of understanding of life should show you the shallow thinking or incapability of following your roadmap. That person will end up saying, for the rest of their life, “I wish I had tried it”, or felt boredom is just a fact of life.
In your first year of traveling, after high school, one of the hurdles you learned was how to go from a $50 a day budget, to $10’s a day in your 2nd year. With that lesson alone you’ve met 100’s of wonderful people, animals, rivers, mountains, lifestyles, thoughts, colors, etc…. which will help your world and life become 360 degrees, much more than your critics can or will ever experience. In that first year, while trying to stay within your budget, many of nights you slept in a park, on someone’s porch (you had many interesting beds), you came away with “I have a better understanding of the homeless”.
Whatever path or paths you choose you will be more prepared than anyone who sits in front of their computer criticizing people for not doing it the right way.
I’m so proud of you and your brother for doing it your own ways.
I love you, papa
